01 | Overview
uBiome hired us to develop a reseller program and establish an affiliate marketing campaign. The company, which sells microbiome DNA testing kits, raised nearly $6M and had generated a lot of media buzz. Now, they needed a sales market. We identified and outreached to potential customers, developed an email marketing campaign, created various promo cards to succinctly communicate messaging, set-up a Groupon promotion to gain public-at-large insight, and vetted media opportunities.
02 | Results
Through our marketing efforts, we were able to build brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
1. Creative: We designed a series of promo cards: Track Your Gut and What’s In Your Gut.
2. Marketing: We pitched the promo cards to 175 potential resellers, establishing 14 qualified leads.
3. Sponsorships: We negotiated an event sponsorship with FoundersCard and The Perfect Health Diet retreat.
4. Media: We vetted ad networks for a $20k savings, negotiated a free newsletter in Paleo Magazine and signed as an affiliate marketer, and facilitated an interview with founder Jessica Richman and Examine Research Digest resulting in a 4-page article.
